TASTY TUESDAY-Homemade Almond Milk!

I have had so many requests for this recipe!  It is so easy to make and tastes better than store bought!  I love using my almond milk in protein shakes and my morning oatmeal especially overnight oats!  Give it a try and let us know what you think!

Combine the following in a blender:

1 cup soaked almonds (cover almonds with water and soak in the fridge overnight)

2-3 cups water

2 pitted dates for sweetness

Blend well

Line a bowl with a nut milk bag

Pour blended mixture into lined bowl and squeeze out all the yummy goodness!

Add 1 tsp of vanilla, stir and enjoy!

Store in the fridge in a covered mason jar for up to a week!
